Monumenta Germaniae historica

Provides digital access to sources of medieval German, Austrian, and Swiss history (end of the Roman Empire - 1500) and is based on the comprehensive print critical editions of the same name. Documents are divided into the following areas: Antiquitates (records from monuments, seals, and other objects), Diplomata (diplomatic documents), Epistolae (letters), Leges (laws and legal documents), Scriptores (books and writings), and Necrologia (death records).
