Religion & philosophy collection (Gale)

Provides a collection of (mostly) peer-reviewed articles, with some full text in HTML and PDF format covering studies in religion and philosophy, intended primarily for academic researchers. There is considerable overlap between this index and other religious and philosophical indexes currently subscribed. So this one is perhaps best used as a supplemental resource, where comprehensiveness of results is a prime concern. It does contain some unique material, but not in sufficient quantities to justify enormous time expenditure. This collection is part of the larger Academic OneFile database. So ostensibly, this resource can be dispensed with, and the mother database could be searched in preference. Sophisticated search features include: peer review limiter, full text limiter, publication title search, etc. It does not include a scripture search feature. Full text availability.
